Future Versions

I am always trying to think of new ideas to include in future versions of TSCAD. A few of the ideas that may find their way in to a future release include:

• TSCAD Server: This would allow multiple clients to connect to the server and the server to connect to Run 8. By doing this, things like track and time could propagate throughout all TSCAD clients in a multi user session.

• Train ETAs: Ability to see the estimated arrival time of a train at blocks further down the tracks. This would be helpful for timing meets.

• Hours of Service: Putting an “hours of service” limit on AI trains. When an AI train has reached its hours of service, it would stop where it is until a relief crew can reach it.

• Many more!
